I spent the weekend in eastern Tennessee, at a little place tucked in the mountains called Cades Cove. What used to be a early pioneer settlement was turned into a national park. There are original structures along the way: cabins, churches, an old mill. We ran into different wildlife, and endless breath taking views.

Anytime I go to my friend’s house, it means I get to hang out with their Shi Tzu, Pickles. She’s hilarious! And best of all, I don’t seem to be allergic to her! Ownership of a Shi Tzu may be in my future!
Anyway, here she is. Nothing too special, she’s just cute. More posts to come as I try to get back into the habit of writing
